White's V3 Question

OK short and sweet have a chance to trade a F75SE one year old for a Whites V3 with a year warranty left on it has the 950 coil if i trade should i replace the 950 coil? and if so with what?

Thanks and answer would be app. don't know anything about the V3 trying to read up on it

Is it a vx3 or a v3 that is upgradable to a v3i?

The 950 coil comes stock on the vx3, pretty big difference in detectors.

If it has warranty it should be a V3i and have rechargeable batteries. The standard coil is the 10" D2 coil.

I just got a 10X12 SEF for my VX3. A completely new detector now

The 950 coil is a nice stable coil to use with the VX3. I would suggest sticking with it until you have reason to change. Many of us like the SEF for better coverage and a little more depth but there is nothing wrong with the 950, it has been the White's standard coil on many detectors for many years for good reason....
