Who designed the rear foot on Deus??

I know the French made some poorly designed guns in WW II but man the rear rest or foot does not even rest on the ground!!!
My machine rolls over on its side on uneven ground!
I love this detector but please fix the rear foot rest!

The point is we shouldn't have to custom make something that costs over $1500.00 the damn thing should stand up like it's suppose on slight inclines.

Exactly my point this is a bad design

I'VE SEEN IN THE YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF CUTTING A SMALL PIECE OF PLASTIC PIPE AND GLUEING IT WITH JB WELD UNDER THE FOOT REST AND PAINTING IT BLACK. EASY FIX, BUT I'VE ALWAYS HAD OTHER THINGS TO DO. IT WILL MOVE IT UP HIGHER. HH-MARK

Would be a good project for those that currently sell 3D printed accessories for the Deus, something that slides onto the rear feet with a wider footprint, much like how the Goldmaxx Power control box locates onto the feet.

Yes, the short factory stand design allows the machine roll over on it's side all the time - a real pain !
I took care of that problem along time ago by making a stand extension.
This stand is much more stable and it also helps keep the back of the machine up out of the mud and snow.

Nice start selling them..
Im designing one for mine ..

When I put my machine down all I do is shove the bottom edge of the coil against the ground so it's flat on the ground. It holds the machine upright. Problem solved.

The "foot" as you call ut is a box mount for the GMP and the ADX range as they use the same stem.

Here's my simple solution, handle to large plastic mug (free from last hospital stay) and tie-wraps, cheap from Lowe's/Home depot.

I don't like detectors falling over but in the Deus's case for me it just wont look kool any more with something on there other than what I read up there ^^^^^^ a 3D printed slide on might work otherwise I just push it against my knee if need be.

thanks for sharing the pic's of the mods
