Who has strapped on the new 15incher on the F75????:surprised:

How good is the separation and depth on button sized targets? Thanks

Well it looks like the woodchiphustler has read my mind--oh oh lol I have been going to ask the same question for the last couple of days. Here are my thoughts about the 15 incher. It is pretty heavy so you better have a strap set up of some sort---just us old guys maybe,,,,, I have been using it mostly in the cache mode and it will go very deep when swung slowly and off the ground by about 6 inches. It picked up a piece of farm machinery at 30 inches. The piece was about two feet long and three inches across and 1/4 inch thick. It was a good signal and I only dug it up to see what was going on . If you use the front edge of the coil to locate it helps a great deal especially if you have some other items nearby. Have to remember to carry your shovel well away from the coil as it will easily pick it up and create all sorts of problems---lol I have found that scrubbing the coil on the ground is not the way to do your swings----now is this due to the mode or the coil--I am not sure as yet. I used it at Ganes creek this year and found no advantage in using it---too many signals. Thats my take on it so far. I am taking it out toady to do some woods exploring so this should be a different test. My thoughts are that there isn't too much down that deep, at least around me-----but then how do you know unless you try it out and see what is down there--oh well Don

Terradigger I punched in 15DD and found basicly nothing, Anybody out there using the 15" ? Must be to heavy, I've been waiting months for any review and really haven't seen or heard anything. I do a lot of relic hunting but $250 is a lot to spend on a mystery coil. Oh well!!

You need to key the search term.......15" DD coil......exactly as its typed in this sentence. Select....exact words.......Select......all dates. Plenty of posts will come up. The search function on Phorum software has some search parameter pecadillos that I don't want to go into in-depth.

I had one its like having a small kid sitting on the end of the coil much heaver than an etrac i ditched it did some air tests and due to all the emi i get at most of my sites i found no improvement over the stock coil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIIujlbKY5o]

I used one on my F75ltd & it gave me the same depth as my CZ3D did with a 10.5 loop.

The C's have a big depth advantage on the f
series. The F's have better separation & are easier to swing.
