Don't have much of a clue what most of yall are talking about,,, but I had a dog named Spot a few years back .

I was actually going to try and get my Ham license last year, but got busy. Was going to try one of those little handheld radios to try it out. I'm just not into that tech stuff,, hell ,, i can't figure out these detectors i got,, not sure if i could figure out them radios out or not either.
 
Hawgdawg I know how you feel. Ben a ham, KK4WN, since '61 (not 1861) and metal detected since '74. The new detectors are too complicated and I've forgotten C.W. I don't have a clue what the ham magazine is about. You know, at my age I really don't give a rats bottom. Oblivion isn't all bad except for the room I keep going into and can't figure out why. Really, life (or what's left) is great.
