Why can't the Deus be a multi frequency detector

XP may very well be working on that, but it’s not easy to do.

About 10 man-years of engineering would be required to develop a platform and even then, it might not compete with designs as old as the Fisher CZ series and the Minelab FBS/BBS machines, much less the Equinox and whatever First Texas will bring to the market next year.

It does a darn good job of competing as it is now.

Interesting times we live in...just think of what the latest & greatest detector was in 2008 compared to what's out there now....

In 2028 who knows what kind of imaging or other tech will be used for those 'hunted out' spots from Deus machines, Equinoxes, etc

Architex, not in wet salt beach on the west coast, tried many of programs with little success, if you have a good program for salt water please post it. Thanks

I'm in the midwest - couldn't care less about salt water.

The hardware its there.I belive that a good programer could make the detector switch all the frequencies at the time.
I heard XP cant do it legally because minelab got the patent for multifrequencies.

If you take your Deus inside where it's very quiet and change frequencies, you will hear a click. That may indicate a mechanical switching device in the coil which, if true, I think would preclude very fast frequency changes.
