Will the new white S.E.F. coil work on the Mxt

I have a brand new v3i and also have a Mxt pro and was wondering does anyone know if the new White SEF coil for the v3i work also with the MXT Pro?
 
From what I have been told, the white coils are nulled to the V series. 2.5, 7.5 and 22.5 kHz, and they might work OK on the MXT, but I would recommend using the black version designed for the MXT frequency, 15 kHz. You certainly will not hurt anything trying it on the MXT and if you do try it, let us know of the results.
 
The White coil will not gain you anything on the MXT. It would be the same as using a Whites V Rated coil on the MXT, The same as using a non V rated coil.
 
it will gain you some money in your pocket if it works! no need to buy one for each detector..
 
thanks Rob and basstracker, thats what I was thinking if the white sef worked as well as the black sef on the mxt why buy two coils when I could just get the white one. I will let you all know when the white sef gets here for my v3i, I ordered it this morning.
