WOOO HOOOO!!!! Found some nice keepers tonight!.......

Had to drop my daughter off at a youth group function at 6:30 tonight so I figured I would go hit an old house that I just go permission to dig at.
Right away I was digging pieces of aluminum siding. About 15 minutes into the hunt I get a sweet silver hit. Next thing I realize is the coin is in the plug and I had to go back to the roots to pop it out. Less that 2" deep was a nice 1908 O Barber dime! SWEET!!!
about ten minutes later I dig a neat good for 5 cents trade token. Then a 1903 Indian head, then a 1919 wheat, Then a very cool Watch Fob. Silver plated Potato fob for Iron Age Potato Machinery. "May 7, 07" I love this Fob as we don't see them very often up here. I also got a 1954 play nickel. A few odds and ends, one clad dime and nickel, and many trash items. I will return to this house!
Pics are not the best, I was in a hurry because my battery was dying!

Sweet coins . That is a good looking tater , I don't think you can plant that one and grow taters like that though:bouncy:

Fantastic Mike! My finds weren't as outstanding as those you've found but, for me, they weren't bad. I found $4.50 in quarters, fifteen cents in nickels, a dollar in dimes, and 50+ in pennies. I also found a .925 silver ring (dime store variety). All in all, it was a wonderful week of detecting with the X-Terra 70. The Teknetics Omega 8000 I purchased last week is now back at Al's place and traded for a Tesoro Tejon w/rain cover. The Omega is a great detector but, after hunting the beach for two hours, I decided it wasn't for me. It doesn't have a volume control like it's less expensive siblings does and I was so fearful I'd scratch the faceplate on the digital meter. I've gotten to the point that I'd like to learn to detect by 'sound' rather than by digital read out. I think it will open up a whole new avenue of detecting I've
not experienced before and I like the idea of a lifetime warranty. The Tejon is light, extremely well balanced, manual ground balanced, duel discrimination features, deep seeking and built like a tank! I'm heading back to the school of basics in mental detecting and the Tejon is just the tool to learn to teach me what I need to know. Together with my X-70 I think it will be an interesting journey.

:clapping: Very nice finds my friend! That fob looks like the high lite of your hunt. That's great. Pictures are fine. Congrats on another good hunt.:usaa:

Love those finds, Mike, and the picture too.
