I agree with Jason's good advise, for in my opinion it is the basis of successfully using the E-Trac.

We may be very interested in other people's settings, but they are just that....other people's...for other places...

Ultimately you are best served by tailoring your machine to your own style, and your most comfortable detecting mode.

Thanks Jason....................See the picture, one of my favourite detecting spots, and me in the distance !!!!!....

What kind of ground conditions do you have? As I ask that, I am asking what are your soil conditions and what do you read on your Dual Sensitivity Meter.

Here on the Island and for a example today my readings were anywhere between 4 and 8 inland from the beach. Of course I have had them as high as 18 on the beach. As you can see I have to operate generally in manual and there is so much increasing of the sensitivity level that I can do or I start going erratic. I have learned to except this and I am thankful for my finds. If it wasn't for the e-trac I feel I would not have the finds that I have. Based on other models that some others have on this island the e-trac is out performing based on my finds.

I would like to get some more out of the unit especially when I hunt inland from the beach.

Any suggestions from any one.

BOB .
