Working an iron patch with the T2se/dst

2 Much Trash

Well-known member
Didn't expect to find anything yesterday morning but wanted to take advantage of one of these cool mornings we've been having here lately. Spent about 2 hours in an iron patch that I've hunted many times before working it slow. I have a bad habit of constantly switching modes and settings when I hunt. But this time I left it alone. Set sens 75, disc 0, 2a mode. Dug the smallest of high tones that snuck in between all the iron tones. Paid no attention to numbers just the tone. Managed to pull out a few goodies. This was with the stock 11" coil. Going back soon with the sharpshooter coil.
Good luck at the next hole friends,
Bill :detecting:

Try the little puck 5" coil.

I also use the Sharpshooter coil as the every day stock coil, but for really trashy sites then the small 5'' coil will win hands down and also pretty deep for its size.
