WOT AND PLATYPUS COIL?

I have been using the wot nice and smooth in the parks, and seems to get a little more depth, has anyone here tried it out? or the platypus 8x12dd i am going to check that one out today

i got the WOT coil and i love it. i think it gets great depth but i can only compare it to the pro coil. i use it most of the time now. i feel i get better ground coverage and miss less targets. and as far as target seperation-- its comparable to the pro coil. in my opinion-- its not so much the coil you use, its learnin the one you got. even with the big coil, i've found good targets close to nails and trash. (by close- i mean in the same hole as...). you just have to go slow and listen close. id love to try the 15X12 sef but i fear the wife would murder my "dirt diggin' @ss"

I own both the Wot and Platypus coils. The Wot coil I use on the beach you can cover a lot of ground at a fair speed. The Platypus I use in parks it has nearly equal depth to the Wot coil but the eliptical shape helps narrow targets down in rubbish filled areas. The Platypus coil is also easier to pin point. seeya Neilo
