Wouldn't it be nice if....

we could start having 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 20 dollar silver coins instead of cash. I realize the pennies wouldn't probably be feasible and maybe the $1.00 ones. But I would think it would work for the bigger denominations with Value vs. silver content. I'd like to see some true silver come back into circulation.

I realize this is probably wishful thinking and most likely a pipe dream.

Definitely! Silver costs money and America is looking to cut costs to reduce its budget deficit... I think

The way things are going, we'll probably see something like that, but they'll probably be made from chinese steel and at some point we'll be thrilled to find clad coins

RC you made my day.

Liked brit lb coin. We would save MILLIONS in printing costs if we would stop printing dollars. With copper costs up, wheaties were worth about .018 just in copper last time I ran the numbers. Get used to the crap metal for coins. Zinc pennies really suck, disintegrating MF'ers.
