60 of the things but almost ALL in the water with scuba. It seems I did find one on land under an old sidewalk they were repairing. What a thrill when you see those things.

someone receives for finding, or do something special while metal detecting...or being the owner of a metal detector. :smoke: When someone receives it, it is then up to that person to decide who is worthy of receiving it next....or they just want to dump it on someone else. It's kind of like winning an Oscar, except without the glitter and glamor.

From the way the post was worded i thot that whomever ended up withg this presteeeeegious award was
required to sacrifice a toof er two for it. I aint got enough left to be givin any up :look:

I found a bunch of them but didn't know it was unusual. I had dove for years but never detected until I went on vacation and borrowed one. I found 20 dollars and fifty cents on my first day of detecting a swimmin area on Lake Charlevoix. I was out where the waders could not get but it was all clad. No halves though. I had to research and hunt where the old swimming rafts were in the local lakes before I got into a lot of silver though.

I have only found one silver dollar though.
