Went out to an area I know that has been hammered hard over the years to see how my new replacement 11" coil will react.
In the past, my old coil would not run Manual above 15ish without sounding off just standing there. Auto+3 would run 10 or less.
Anywho, last night in this park Manual was stable and could run as high as I wanted, but I kept it around 26-27 to reduce squeaks from tiny iron bits.
Auto+3 would run 20-24.
Other than tons of nails, I only managed 4 coins in 2 hours in a 50' x 50' area. 3 Wheats and a clad dime.
The cool item I pulled is a bronze WWI Victory medal from "The Great War of Civilization".
The ribbon was not there, but it's in decent shape otherwise.
References to the medal.
