XP Deus service (three questions)

(1) Where in the U.S. is the Deus service center located?---(2) Is this service center in place & ready to handle any Deus problems at this point in time?---(3) Lastly, to our "across the pond" Deus user friends.--Were any problems that you encountered with the XP Deus taken care of in a fast & efficient manner by the company?----------Thanks, Del
 
dist. and repair center is in Mass. type in detector.com if I remember correctly.. Or just type in xp deus and it will come up
 
i would imagin xp would not embark on a place like the states with out sorting a good customer service and trust with there sellers, im only saying this as my experiance with xp in france and the uk have been spot on and any problem was dealt with by the dealer who has the things you need for the od problem and knows the machine, i have never had to send anything back to the factory, the creator of xp still answers in his forum, i have been using xp,s for 6 years now and only once had a problem with a curcuit board just after purchase and the same machine was given back to me new by the dealer and xp dealt with the rest :)

One of the factors that held up the introduction of the Deus to the US was the company's requirement that there be a service center here sop that if anything required service it would not require a trip back to France to be performed. The importer - located in Massachusetts - has the repair center setup to handle any issues on the Deus so all repairs are handled in the States. As far as issues related to the unit based on the use since it was introduced a few years ago, there have been nothing but a few isolated issues that were quickly addressed. Most dealers - I can not speak about all of them - will handle issues on a swap-out basis and then take care of the issues directly with the service center . . . if down-time for a possible repair is a concern, ask what your dealer's policy is on this before putting down your money.

HI Del, Metaldetector.com is the service center/importer and couldn't have been nicer to me. I have talked with Michael several times and when I called yesterday about a possible bad coil or charger clip, he had some suggestions and then an apology and then an offer to ship a replacement coil off to me Monday if it was still needed. It looks like I might not need a replacement coil but nice to know that it is just a call away if I do. I think I had a stubborn battery and I have been charging and discharging it and after four cycles, it seems to hold a full charge now.

It is good to know that, if you have any problems with you Deus, it will be taken care of.:clapping:
