XP Deus wet beach setting advice

Just purchased a xp deus and i want to use it at the beach in dry and wet sand, experience in using Sand Shark pi and Minelabs, Fishers and Tesoro's. i know there are programs for wet and dry beach but when i get there i would like to hear some advice on what to do if the xp is irritate and won't settle down.

It's been over a year since i was on a salt beach but if i remember correctly you will have to set the GB manually, I think when i moved it down to 10 it wasn't so chatty......this was for wet sand, dry sand and dry sand program the machine is stable......also i was hunting the surf line......if the coil bumps the sand or water it will get noisy.
