XY screen keeps producing

I played with XY screen this evening in a yard next door. Been hit many times by me and thought it was cleared out but recovered 6 wheaties using XY and 3 tones. ALL targets were iffy, not over 6" but on the conductive side of the screen although none a solid line but enough to dig. I was surprised and learned a lot about the tones I have been passing up!

it needs to be better accesible from 1 button press

It's a Hodograph so low conductors in the foil range appear straight up and down. So does small gold jewelry!

I agree, it would be nice if the pinpoint button could be used for a "hot button" that is programmable. I don't use the pinpoint method but love the using both screens (Main and XY). If you could toggle back and forth from Main to XY using the pinpoint button that would be awesome in my book!

XP team use Whites Spectra idea... but XP is only single freq. machine, so this option isn't goo enough. It can help sometimes but sometimes ;)

The XY screen works great for me. But I freshwater hunt only. It's saved a lot of unnecessary digging for me. I use to dig it all just to test it out. But I'm confident with it now and trust it.

I personally like this mode it's another tool in the arsenal. I'd like to see it enabled all the time without having to do the "secret" keypress combination to enable it. (I guess that isn't really much of a secret is it).
