Now we get to go back this weekend and clean up a messy yard and throw out all my food out of the refrig. Luckily my sister was able to rescue my meats out of the freezer and put them in her freezer that ran on generator power.

Don't foresee a comfortable winter here any time soon.

The power company stated that there is $100 million dollars in damages done to the powers lines and poles alone. Grocery stores, resturaunts, and any place that did not have a backup generator lost all of their refrigerated foods. People who do not have generators had to throw out all their food that was refrigerated. Schools are still closed and 400K people still without power.

First off I turn off the mean breaker swish in the mean box. Then I use a # 10 wire(50' all ready made to fit the gen. and dryer plug in) from the gen.220v side I plug the wire into my dryer plug in.This back feed my play room with 220v,this make's my bracker box 110v on each side the box.I can use all my stuff but a ele.stove and ele.water heater. It will even run my 110V window A/C, fan's,ice box 2 freezer, light's,water pump with no trouble at all.Send your electrician here and I'll show him how it's done. Now I ain't saying it is code,But I own it and no one ever monkeyed with me about it the last 35yr.Hope I answer what you wanted to know.

Life is good
