Year to Date Comparison

By this time last year I had 48 hunts under my belt. This year: 1 I made a trip to the sled hill and found a solid block of ice instead of snow. I spent about 20 minutes there and gave up in disgust. I got promising signals but I couldn't get to any of them. I'm not happy!

This is the latest winter I can remember. Groundhog sure blew it this year!

Hi MrGee, Look at it this way, if you couldn't, get them, no one else could. They will be there when you can get to them. Every day that is warm enough to go hunting here it rains. I got to places that i think will be real good, but road is bad even dry. Good luck getting back out there. Flintstone

thanks Flintstone. I needed that pep talk and you know....you're exactly on point. No one else can get to them either. I feel much better and the fact that it's supposed to be into the 40's by the weekend helps a lot.

I was out hunting January first. Been out about 10 times since then.
