Went coin hunting,ended up finding a three ringer and a flattened round ball.
I think the three ringer is .68 caliber,is that right? The dime i found fits flush with the bottom of the three ringer.
I can't imagine getting shot with one of those,heck,you could just throw it and seriously injure someone! LOL
What i thought was a piece of junk seems to be the side of a toy pistol.
was an interesting hunt.

Way to go Harold ..... That three ringer has been in the ground a long time....... Bullets that size were mostly the cause of so many amputations in the Civil War...... When you got wounded by one of them there wasn't much of anything left to sew back together ...... Good find...
