Put some teflon tape on the coil bolt threads--should tighten right up.----That's what I done. This thing does not tighten up well. Coil is still floppy. Ideas? Thanks
AbsolutelyBe sure the tear drop shaped rubber washers are installed on each side of the lower shaft.
Still works it way loose.----Like I said: wrap some teflon tape around the coil bolt---problem solved.I saw on another forum the answer. The clevis on the lower rod is threaded on one side. It was on this side that the poster installed the bolt. It didn't work because it wouldn't pull the other side of the clevis, When he switched it to the other side, then it pulled the clevis together, solving the problem.
Well----what did you do to remedy the situation??---Maybe we can all learn something concerning this.Got it fixed. Thanks
Flipped the shaft 90 degrees like was mentioned. I can be quite a dufus sometimes.Well----what did you do to remedy the situation??---Maybe we can all learn something concerning this.
