A Few Hours With the Impulse AQ

Not a bad few hours with the Impulse. Recently purchased the 8" coil (and another AQ) and got into a nice line on the slope. Three other detectorists were pounding the shore line so I stayed clear.

The chain is 925 and about 22". The ring is stainless but cool, nonetheless.

I've not read or heard much about the 8" coil, what kind of depth does it get. (like on a nickel)
I didn't notice a difference in depth; however, the threshold was significantly better along the shore. The 12" seems to "swoosh" a lot regardless of where it is used. In the water, just as much falsing as the 12". Probably need to tinker with the settings, but I was just enjoying the day. I did pull one nickel in about 4' of water. Two or three scoops but it could have been location and sinking. Easy to swing in the water (obviously).
