    Shovel for metal detecting.

    Old pocket watch back

    Hickey

    Her wording was( Matt Cooper, the town barber and billiard parlor owner,( I have a hickey which was used for card games and pool ) bought a Model T for 492.45. / I have found a number of the tokens from this pool hall so I was thinking there was possibly a connection. ? Thanks for comments Steve.

    In and old history book I run across a statement referring to a hickey/ Does anyone know if it is the same as a token ? Used for card games and pool. Time goes on and the past is forgotten.

    getting skunked !

    One thing I have noticed over the years ? Some times I find nothing keep able till the 3rd time out on old homesteads, CCC camps, stage stops, etc. Has anyone else found this 3 thing to happen ?

    Brass lug nut

    Found the other day a brass lug nut with an L stamped in the middle of it. First guess was that is must be the left side lug nut for a Dodge. But who would make a lug nut out of brass? As most lug nut have a hole all the way thru this is capped off with the L stamped on the end. Any help on this?

    Glass globe for what?

    This odd ball is threaded as a jar lid on both ends. The top cap has SUPREM stamped across the top. The bottom is hard to see but the tin is concave. The top is solid and no slot for heat to escape if it were a lamp globe.

    Lapel or hat pin ?

    This was found in the area of and old fort in Montana (1867-1891) which had the 13th Infantry Regiment housed there. It is brass faced with a lead back it appears. I couldn't info on the internet about it. Also dug up a few civil war era buttons, One was a horse and plow with cabin from the U.S...

    What was patented on March 12,1878 ?

    Has anyone found out what this thing was? Looks like a dog tag to me! 1 1/4" wide x1" tall. No marks except date of pat. ?
