Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Metal Detectors

AI will build a metal detector that researches for the site to use it on , finds the buried goods , that are anygood and worth digging , digs them up and then serves us a cold beer in the comfort of lounge chairs.....:)

Built a probe for my Manticore

I would also like to say that maybe that one day soon we might get an inline probe like the Equinox NX-1 made by Sunray or another clever company for the Manticore.

Built a probe for my Manticore

Hi Charles, What a great idea. Did the same starting with CTX-3030, used it with other detectors including the XP Deus 1 and the Equinox 800 with an external mounted speaker with my old chestmounted Explorer 2. I to wanted to put Explorer to some use. It was okay for a while but in the end I...

WM09 for The Manticore, 700/900, and Xterra Pro.

As a wireless module that it is, I just don't think it can be beat with it's transmission direct to Manticore control box. Wish MAP would apply here in Australia. Seems it does not.

WM09 for The Manticore, 700/900, and Xterra Pro.

When I was invited in Sept/Oct 2022 by a local dealer to purchase the newley released Minleab Manticore, I fronted up expecting a WM and something other than the wireless headphones. They suggested I go wired. Was quickly ejected from the store because of my "aggressive" questioning and maybe...

WM09 for The Manticore, 700/900, and Xterra Pro.

Got a WM09 on it's way. Given that it's a gift from someone and is my Christmas present I'll take it. It cost AU$258.00 delivered to my door from Aussie East Cost to Aussie West cost.

Anybody know when the large/small coils will come out of the Manticore?

Here in Australia, I managed to buy the M15 last week. At one stage , yes it seemed like it was unobtainium and it's unusual because the other markets around, including the US and the rest of the world usually get the first choice. I've yet to try it out in a search and will do so on Friday...

Not far away now. Atleast the WM09 has an authentic mention on Minelabs own website: https://www.minelab.com/anzea/accessories/wm-09-wireless-audio-module

    Can anyone identify

Lots of fond memories from when I purchased this ADS Deepseeker in 1977 from Garrett Dealer here in Perth Western Australia. Took it gold prospecting. Was fun to use in the Goldfields over here. It also served me well as a coin detector for a fews years. I kept it because I could and because it...

Anybody else having trouble with Xchange2?

"It is also possible to extract the GPS data directly from the CTX 3030 or the GPZ 7000 without using the XChange2 application if you require the GPS Data for other applications.” That would be great. I wonder how?
