    coin cache patterns

    does anyone have any information on patterns from caches...i've recently found 3 hoards...i know there is more...i left the holes open...i saw pictures of some patterns in a book somewhere but cannot locate it....any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks ginger

    need a little hlep....

    my partner and i are going back to the field where we have found over 15 coins already....plus a small hoard all stuck togeher dating to 1744. we have all the old maps and the president of the historical society trying to figure this site out...there is a house at the edge of the field dating...

    another silver and 3 colonials yesterday

    i found a silver 1784 carlos III coin...donglassdigger found 3 more colonials ...all at the same sight....the silver gave me a signal only one way and was very faint....lots of iron around...so once again i used that great quick mask button...love it...hopefully he'll post pics today....was up...

    two big questions about e trac

    why does e trac bench test at 11 to 12" on copper coins and can detect them up to two feet in the ground. why does e trac show a fe value of 11 to 12 on copper and silver coins when there is no fe value at all..the se showed 00 fe...

    my first gold

    went out to an old farm yesterday....was littered with junk....i did manage to pull out a colonial button.....after four hours of that place we all left . on the way home we stopped at a cellar hole dating baqck to 1831 that we know has been metaql detected and partied at.....i got a 12-38 hit...

    very confused

    i've been reading this forum for a month now. i had the minelabe se mastered...found so much treasure...lots of colonials starting from 1733....buttons galoure....and so on....just started metal detecting last year....so i;'m a newbie..but just got an e track...oh god....so confused...downloaded...
