    coil exstension cable

I'd like to see a waterproof exstension cable for the coil so one could hang the control box around ones neck while detecting in the water. Also some type of bracket that screws to box using original screws that one could put a (camera)strap or some other type strap on to hang on ones neck...

    9x12 coil in water?

Anyone used it in water? How sensitive to small objects, and how hard to use(swing) underwater?

    Just curious

From anyone who has used a ctx, That coil appears rather large(from the picture), how does the machine respond in trash when 3 different objects are under the coil?

    got curious

After reading somewhere the govt might change the metal composition of cents, and 5c coins. So tested a non dug and pristine 1943 steel cent on the ATP. VDI came out 21-22 (in the iron range), don't know what a dug one registers, enlighten me if anyone has dug one(where it registers).

    battery

Whats the battery life (alkaline) on the at pro?
  8. R

Well the E-Trac and V3i have both been blown out of the water with this machine Accuracy of Up To 16 Inches In Depth

If i read the stats correctly,it must need a lightening sweep speed, because with 8 aa batteries[12volts] and a minimum operating voltage of 11.6 volts its going to run out of battery quick.

1.6 volt nickle zinc rechargeable batteries

Has anyone tried these, and how good are they?
