    Pavement on old street bulldozed:detecting:

    As I came home tonite I noticed they are digging up the asphalt from a street that runs alongside the ocean. I googled it next to a map of the area made in 1883. The street was there then, it just has a new name now. I plan to detect it in the morning. I hope the old coins are close to the top...

    RE-calibration- How often?

    I have read on this forum that people have their MXT re-calibrated. I have owned mine for 5 yrs and it has seen extensive use. Is it recommended to have it recalibrated and if so how often should this be done? Thanks in Advance
