    Capital district of NY

I’m just trying to get back into metal detecting, and looking to see if there is anyone in the Albany area in NY that may be looking to get out for some detecting.

    NEL coils on the G2+?

Have any of you used the NEL coils on your G2 or G2+? I'm looking at possibly picking up the sharp shooter and the hunter for my G2+. Just looking to see if there is any feedback with these coils on the G2's.

    Late Christmas

It may be a little late but it still feels like Christmas to me! I took it out briefly in me back yard today. I pulled up one quarter and marked some deep targets that I hadn't hit with my previous detectors. Unfortunately my ground is frozen so those targets will have to wait for spring time...

On its way back to White's

Sorry for the late response. I took it out a few times after being fixed and still found myself having the same issues. I don't know if it was something I was doing wrong or if it is just how these detectors are but I decided it was time for the TPro and I to part ways.

    Can't wait!

I've been in the market for a new detector for a little while now and finally just made up my mind. I just placed an order for a Teknetics G2+ LTD. I'm hoping it comes before he ground freezes solid for the winter so I can at least test it out a few times. This will be a huge upgrade over my...

On its way back to White's

I got my detector back today. Unfortunately I was working all day and will be the next two days as well so I won't be able to test it out until Saturday. The only thing I found weird was that I got no communication from Whites as to what if anything they did to my detector. Is this normal for...

On its way back to White's

Well I am currently detectorless. For some reason my Treasure Pro started acting up on my last hunt. It's was good up until that point so I'm not sure what happened. I think it may be software related. I took the TPro out to a local school for the second time. I hit this school about a week ago...

    New toy

That makes sense. All I know is it's the best $20 I've spent in a long time.

Mine is indeed 32". I'm not sure why their website says it is 10" longer.

    New toy

I don't know the exact length but here is a link to the part I bought from my dealer. http://www.whiteselectronics.com/fiber-rod-lower-tall-man You can have him check the part numbers to see if what he ordered is the same thing. I do believe it is in the 32-33" range though.

    New toy

Went and picked up the tall man lower rod this morning. Man what a difference that made. The Treasure Pro is so comfortable to use now. I have it set as long as it can go and I have a huge sweep range now.

    New toy

I am going back to my dealer on Thursday to pick up the longer lower rod. I'll update you guys on how much it helps out after I get it.

    New toy

I went to my local dealer yesterday and picked up a Treasure Pro. This is my first Whites detector and so far I am impressed. I have been using the TRX pinpointer for the last six months and loved it so much I figured I'd try one of their detectors. Ive only used it in my back yard so far but...
