Out today digging in a horse pasture, concrete hard dirt and found this along with a 1901 not 20 feet from it. We need rain in the Ozarks!
This is the way Indians come out of the ground here, beautiful green. Plan to have it sent to NGC for preservation.

I found one. Darker green. Beautiful.
Scratched across the nose trying to pop it out.
Stupid.
 
Awesome find found a few key dates over the years silver coins One guy on YouTube Ben found two 1877 Indians in a park scratching one badly right across the face not long after he found another! Not same day but incredible and it was a nice one also. Video

That’s a beauty, congratulations! I probably wouldn’t be able to detect after that find.

Cool video Mark! I don't know what I have for Indian head pennies. I got a nice 1902 Sunday along with a 43 Merc. I usually look at them and think That's cool and toss them into a container. I have a butter tub full of Indian heads around here as I have been hunting over 40 years...

Hey Ted same here I sold some of my beach silver which most are dateless thrown into a container which probably weighed over 10lbs so why not sell some of them I need a new outboard paid for that win win lol
