    Seawater advice

Hey guys, I haven't ever used my CTX in the ocean yet, but have logged many hours in the fresh water. I'm looking for some tips for settings as I'm finally getting a chance to get out of the cold and go down to Florida in a few days. I guessing most people run a wide open screen and sensitivity...

    11" coil....why?

Maybe it's me, but I see no need for a 11" coil. I already have the big one, why do they see a need for a in between coil? When I heard a new coil was coming out I thought for sure it was going to be smaller than the stock.

    Cortez question

I had a Cortez years ago when it first came out and never had any success with the "SUM" mode in finding gold rings. Ive been wondering if anyone is using that machine with any success. I seldom see the Cortez mentioned here and it's still one of Tesoros flagships. Thanks Aaron

    New DEUS headphones?

Has anyone purchased these? And how do you like them. I am not referring to the wire-type stock ones either. I know I had seen them before, they are like full size muff-style phones. I cant seem to find them. Very expensive. Thanks, Aaron

    A good night

Hunted a old homesite tonight and found 5 Wheats 2 18's, 2 19's and a 09' (no VDB), 2 Indians 90' and 05' and a 1912 Barber quarter with a nail above it. The signal was choppy but still very clear. The nail was a couple inches over the Barber and it was 9" deep. I also found this old gold guilt...

    DEUS Depth, Very Impressive!

Last trip to the old homesite netted a few nice relics and coins. 6 Wheats from the teens and twenties, a 44' Merc, a Imperial Standard flat button (circa 1820-40's) and a really cool old brass bell. The iron clanger is wasted inside, Im wondering what it was for? The most memorable thing I...

    Stupid me...

I didn't put the charging clip on the coil right so the DEUS died on me 2hrs into the hunt at my old old homesite. I did end up finding 3 wheats in one hole (19, 19 & 20). I also found a weird type washer, spacer thing about the diameter of a Pennie but thicker. It was 10.5 deep and sounded...

Unfortunately the coil died on me cause I did not charge it properly:ranting: Fortunately I had brought...
