    You might want to think about getting the wireless headphones for the 600, I bought the minelab headphones for mine but I have read that other cheaper wireless headphones work with the equinox as well. I love not being tied to the machine with that cable! The 6" coil gets great depth for it's size.

    I've used the rechargeable batteries and it's just like Flydo said they don't put out the 1.5V power that an alkaline battery does. Does this effect the machines performance? I don't know but I quit using the rechargeable batteries.

    I've been using the T2+ for a few years now for relic hunting and have made some good finds with it but I can honestly say none were over 9 or 10 inches deep. I will say the T2+ goes deeper than my Garrett ATPRO. My question is will the F75+ go deeper than the T2+?

    Picketwire, I'm sending the machine back on Tuesday. I have all the documentation they require for proof of purchase. I hope this will have a happy ending and I'll be able to say what a great company Teknetics is and that they honor their warranty. I guess we'll see.

    How much deeper that the stock coil? The 12" is a little pricey but not really when compared to aftermarket coils. I like to try to stick to the ORM coils if I can.

    You got that right, nothing but good experiences with Bigboyshobbies for me. Kellyco always charges tax and shipping and wants to charge you for a lot of extra crap you don't need or want but I will say they have good customer service and returns are not a problem.
