    Ever have one of those days?

    Pretty Slick.......

    Just got a MI-6. Really neat pinpointer. No need to remember some arcane code to change settings, just turn it on and settings appear on the remote screen. How cool is that?

    Waterproofing

    Maybe I missed it somewhere (typical) but in the few pics I've seen of a disassembled Nox handle the real water seal seems to be just under the battery, not where the handle wraps the shaft. Anyone know for sure?

    User Profile

    I have noticed that when I set up a user profile with disc settings (certain numbers blanked out) and save it, and then switch to a factory setting then back to the profile, the disc pattern does not show up. Is that normal or am I suffering brain flatulence? :confused:

    You Just Never Know.......

    There is a park I hunt that I have done several times each with my CTX, Deus, and EQ 800. Recently I bought a Quest 20 to use as a loaner. I took it out to the same place I had hunted with the other three detectors. Hunted for about 45 minutes and this pops up at about 5". Says .925 inside.

    EQ 800.....Help!

    1. About all I have available to hunt are trashy (aluminum) parks. 2. As of this minute I have all of 7 hours on the 800. With that said, I spent 2.5 hours today at one of my sites (see #1 above). Using park 2, recovery 7, iron bias 2, and multi, every solid 13 was a square tab, every 19or 24...
