    Sorry I have not gotten back to everyone but I have found the coil battery needs replaced and plan to do that. It charges up but seems to last about 4-5 hours and runs low. Sorry.

    New Simplex+ pinpoint speaker disabled unless I hold the button down?

    I understand it is meant to be a mute function, but why would anyone not just change the frequency so they don't have to press the mute button every time they want to use their pinpointer? Also, right next to the same button is an on/off that does the same thing?

    Old detector New to the Simplex

    Except for frequency change. F2 interferes with my Garrett Carrot pinpointer bad, so I change to F1 and it is fine, but I have to change it each time I start my Simplex+ because it defaults to F2.
