    fellow hobbyist, add a photo of the item you want to sell... If an ad doesn't have a picture i don't even look at it. I would say most don't.. But good luck anyway.

    ground balance question v3i.

    I have never paid any attention to the ground balance numbers..... Even though i ground balance everytime before i sweep my coil. I just assume if the machine says it's ground balanced, then i'm good to go,,,cause i presume it's electronics is smarter than me... But i'm gonna take note from now...

    Did you mean you switched to a V3i, i was under the impression Whites wouldn't upgrade a VX3?

    TRX or dx1 for v3i.

    You can use the dx1 in discriminate and see the info on your screen, "same as coil" or no motion all metal, these options are sellers for me. I have both and to me it's the dx1. good luck.

    Just Picked up a VX3

    I would do a program restore, then select the stock coin and jewelry program and go hunting. You can adjust your RX Gain, sensitivity, recovery speed , etc as you become more comfortable with it. You might have to adjust your RX gain if you have EMI issues or something that makes it seem chatty...

    Odd color tones on war nickels

    Any guesses as to why these two war nickels a P and a S have such different color tones? The P looks dirty but it is much more than that. The color tones are vastly different, much more pronounced then what picture shows , the S is very bright. I don't remember when or where i found these but...
