Best Machine for jewelry on land

White's V3i with BigFoot coil running in multi Frequency. Pulltab VDI's skew up the scale so you can disc them out. Gold ring VDI's don't change nearly as much so you can disc out the tabs whiles still getting 95% of the gold rings.

F2 iron bias settings and Recovery speed??

The new iron bias F2 ran at a setting of 4 would equal the older FE iron Bias set at 0. I'm one of those Hunters that run F2 usually set to 0, but in your case, I'd start with F2 Iron Bias set at 2 or 3 and see how it works for you. Then you can add more or less once you determine how it works...

Just downloaded latest software for simplex. I like it.

The ANfibio ("N" not "m") is a couple of steps up from the Simplex+. The Anfibio has many coils to choose from. Currently the only coil available for the Simplex is the standard coil that comes with it. Somehow I think you got your information backwards. The Anfibio is a Really nice detector...

    Recovery Speed/Depth

That is correct in most instances, BUT higher Recovery speeds can actually be deeper in some highly mineralized soils.

Wireless ear buds for the simplex?

Nokta uses a proprietary wireless system so the only wireless headphones of any type that will work are the Makro/Nokta headphones. No others will work. Unlike the Minelab Equinox which uses Bluetooth technology.

Plugging along with the Fors CoRe.

Good hunt! That site looks familiar, I think I've hunted directly under that tree. Of course I wasn't using the Fors CoRe. :cry2:

    Super Day with Multi

Were you using the Anfibio Multi or the Multi Kruzer? The Anfibio Standard 11" coil is a really nice coil. I like it much better than the Kruzer 11" coil and it is quite a bit deeper on coin sized targets. The 7" concentric is on my Kruzer most of the time.

    Anfibio Multi or Minelab Equinox 600,, pro's & con's?

I've had both the Anfibio Multi and the Nox 800. If I could only have one it would be the Nox 800. If it was between the Anfibio and the Nox 600, I'd probably go Anfibio. I really like the audio flexibility that the 800 has over the 600 and for me, the Anfibio has those attributes over the 600.

What one man has done on his stretch of beach

You mean everybody doesn't do that? A detectorist that doesn't carry out all his trash targets is just going to dig them all again at a later date.

Aftermarket shafts. What you got ? Like it ?

I made a counter weight setup for mine as well. I used a 3/8" to 1/2" Socket adapter. Mounted the female 3/8" end in the end of the Nox rod behind the arm cuff with the Male 1/2" end sticking out. I can snap on different sized 1/2" sockets depending on how much weight I want. I have a socket...

Aftermarket shafts. What you got ? Like it ?

For many detectors I'm an "S" rod guy. I modified my Nox by using a White's S rod off a DFX and I use a White's lower rod on my three Nox Coils. The White's lower rods are required because the S rod is a little smaller diameter than the Minelab rod. Center S rod is about $19 and so are the lower...

Equinox lost the latest 2.0 update

Uploaded the latest 2.0 update. It worked for a day of detecting but when I turned it on for a hunt today, it's gone. Only FE iron bias now. Guess I'll try to reload it and see what happens. Anyone else have this happen to their's?

Multi Kruzer flooded on first lake trip

Took my Multi Kruzer to the lake this morning for the first time. It lasted about 10 minutes after I got the control box submerged. The box never got more than 3 to 4 inches below the surface and all of a sudden it started overloading and wouldn't stop. As I was walking back to the truck I...
