    Stumped on this one

Been researching a long gone late 1800s stagecoach stop & post office. Problem is far as i can tell from old maps it was off an old trail that no longer exists. The trail only shows up on early 1800s maps with no useful reference landmarks to pinpoint it. Anyhow, i triangulated the possible...

Gold Digger Metal Detectors = Excellence

Got my coil, shaft, shaft hardware and Andy Sabisch's eTRAC handbook in a couple days, all arrived safely intact. Expected ground shipment of 4 to 5 days. Great to do business with you all.

    NEL Hunter 12.5 X 8.5 Coil Review

UPS delivered my NEL Hunter coil a few days ago. Finally got a chance today to take it out for a spin. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o273/moparado/Hunter_1_zps427d8309.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o273/moparado/Hunter_2_zps9b7ccdfb.jpg I decided to test it out at an extremely...

Finding deep silver in an iron minefield

Pushed 70 degrees today, so i took the eTRAC out of winter mothballs, charged the batteries and got all my ducks in a row for the first detecting session of the year. Only had a couple hours to detect...so! Decided to try a local 'hunted out' turn of the Century park where i found so far 51...

    updated eTRAC II wish list

Been on the fence about buying a 3030 but finally decided i don't need waterproof or gps. Not worth the extra $1000 in my case. But i would consider buying an updated eTRAC version even if it costs a little more than the old version. I think Minelab is missing a good marketing opportunity here...

    Hap Hazard Finds? Anyone?

OK, with cabin fever and all, been thinking of my weirdest silver finds. This one kept coming up which occurred last year. Decided to hunt that day between the storms at a local pounded park where i've found some silver before. Got a iffy silver ID on the eTRAC. Conduct bounced around 45 but...

    LIDAR maps on-line?

On a History Channel program called if i remember correctly 'America Unearthed' featured the use of LIDAR mapping. I was impressed and searched the net for any on-line LIDAR maps. Couldn't find any but i was further impressed with some LIDAR examples shown on some web pages. Trees and other...

    AT Pro and Etrac?

Howdy All, first post. Been using my old trusty GARRETT GTA1000 off and on for years now. Found a lot with it but depth isn't great. As silver is getting deeper these days, i decided to upgrade to an Etrac. Been using it for a month now and found a lot with it so far mostly clads and a couple...
