    Hot Rocks

    Here in NM I do some of my hunting in the Manzano Mtns. Several places I go have highly mineralized soil and hot rocks( rocks with a lot of iron). One source I read said that the presence of hot rocks increases the possibility of gold, not a guarantee, however. Does anyone know this to be true?

    AT Pro vs AT Gold

    My questions concern the differences between these two Garrett machines, AT Pro and AT Gold. The AT Pro has the notch discrimination.The AT Gold has 18khz which I understand is better than the 15khz of the AT Pro for gold. Are there any other major differences? Also does the khz difference...
