    More "Incinerate Beach" Finds

    Eyeballed Victorian Cent

It's quite early at least by Canadian standards 1888. There's an area here that old incinerate was dumped along a shoreline. It often contains coins, gold scrap copper, brass and lead and other nice relics. Last year we did some "boarding"--putting a board up on shore and bringing material up...

Land (Sovereign) to Sea (Excal) Interchangable Coils

This jumper takes your interchangable Excalibur coils over to the Sovereign as well. (Bulgin Bucanneer to Land Plug). I've left the Bulgin plug open to show how easy they are to work with (no solder). cjc clivesgoldpage.com

    BBS Full Kit

Old school for sure but I've gotten good results with the Blue Tubes and X2 Pro boards running the WOT. Still need to make the jumper from land plug to Bulgin and notice that Coiltek does a great solder on their plugs where each wire is doubled back 1 /16th" so it can be seperately shrink...

    Full Blue Tubes Kit

Same as the Ex11 kit but with all three coils now. Old school for sure but I've gotten good results with the Blue Tubes and X2 Pro boards running the WOT. Still need to make the jumper from land plug to Bulgin and notice that Coiltek does a great solder on their plugs where each wire is...

    Blue Tubes, Interchangable Phones

These are supposed to be more stable for the big coils. Had to notch another end cap--terrifying. Sharp little coil for sure probably a lot better in the black sand than the 10". Was doing some testing with a "puck" of Cally black sand and even with this coil the second you move it in closer...

Some Platinum from the Last Few Years 5.5 Ounces

Couple of lunkers in there--the two tilted bands (from left) are 13.7 gr. and 16.7 gr. the big Hindu ring in the middle is 26.1 gr. and the one in the back right corner is Tiffany and Co. 9.7 gr. about $1025 new. IMHO you are always going to have abetter shot at these extreme low conductors...

Some Gold Excalibur, Sovereign and Pulse Finds from 2014 & 2013

Not the 27 ounces per year that I've done in the past but it pays the gas anyhow. Got a great kit now with interchangeable coils / phones for the Excal 11 and an old X2 Pro to run the WOT on. This Sov model is the most stable ever--ideal for large coils and all metal work. The rock beside the...

Some 22 amd 24 Karat from the Last Few Years

Not a lot of this stuff to be had. Total is 3.8 ounces. Made my wife a bangle from some of it--now she won't give it back! The bracelet is a land find--24k, 39 grams and some 22k--fake sapphire is 12, and the blank signet.at he other end is also 12. The kids bangle is about 8 gr. (Scale coin...

    Excal Build

Interchangeable phones / coils. Not as easy a project as one might think--at least not for me. The Bucaneer Standard W/P Connectors are great but you have to get the wire lengths just right. You also have to mirror your connections--not duplicate them. Nothing hard about that. Now for the...

    A $600 Swiss Automatic Dever's Watch

Not the Rolex or Omega it first looked like in the scoop (darn!) but not to be thrown back either! It's amazing how deep you can hit watches with a pulse. The Dual Field got this one so deep I stood digging for about 5 minutes then reached in past my elbow to grab it--easily 20". A lot of...

    Excal 11 Endcap Question

I'm putting a (blessed) set of MGM's on a new machine and was surprised to see a third wire with partial braid on it terminating at the board. Anyone know what I should do with this? I'm very grateful to have this forum to ask questions on ---like to think I've fielded a few (correctly?)...

Some 2014 Gold, About 7.5 Ounces

A big year for bracelets: 23 gr. 14k, 20 gr. 18k and 33 gr. 10k I sell most of my 10k, these are the leftovers about 7.5 ounces. Couple of good rings--center band is PT 13.7 gr. and the diamond two over is appraised at $3850 might get $1200 for it. The one with the topaz is 18k, 13 gr--hit...

    A Top Pro's Excal Mods

Roland Dalcourt has got to be one of the top hunters on the planet. His finds include six Rolexes, several Cartier watches, Brietlings, and last winter alone he found three diamond solitares worth over $15,000 each. The best one appraised at $18.500. HIs biggest chain was over 200 grams. He...
