Couple of questions for you Nox users

Here's a good re43commendation, look for a good used Nox 600, it's all you'll need unless you plan on small nugget hunting. You don't have to turn the cell phone off or worry about other detectors. When you get interference just noise cancel and it should pick a clear frequency for you to...

Lost My Pin Pointer.... Damn It..! Need Advice

Pro pointer is the only one I'd recommend. But make sure you buy plastic covers for the tip and a lanyard

Can someone pass along some good settings they recommend for coin hunting (old silver and large coppers).

Have you trie3d the Detector Buddy, sling? I use on all my detectors puts the weight on your shoulder. I use them in the water also, when you bend down the detector lowers and when you stand up it pops up right into your hand

    Maticore in the water

Submerged it in the tub for an hour, hose it off after every use no problems yet. All the lakes are iced over. I always use it under water

Doubts over Manticore 50% extra power.

As a Equinox user for years both the 600 and 800. I have been able to pull 10" dimes and cents regularly. I feel I have maxed out the Nox and decided to go with the Manticore, it has not disappointed, I've found zincs at 11" lots of coins at all depths. I haven't found any really old coins yet...

Doubts over Manticore 50% extra power.

I have the Core and am totally satisfied with it. I'm learning more all the time. I don't care if you tell me it has 10,000 times more power or it has less power than a watch battery. I want results, so far I've found many coins at the 9" plus depth. I like how it separates and the 2D...

Manticore too deep for Park Detectorists?

If you are careful you can dig deep holes that doesnt damage the ground. If your careless you could really tear up the park by just ripping targets out every where

    Manticore Update

the more people cancel the higher I get on the list and closer to getting one. What if its all they say it will be and then people take the dive and buy one after all? That would make Minelab genius's

Does the Nox leak from modifications

If NM is so good why do so many people get a Legend and then go back to the z Equinox. Why is NM always trying to say their product is equal 2 or better than the Nox? Minelab Equinox revolutionized the detector industry, nothing can touch its power and depth so far. Hopefully my Manticore...

Does the Nox leak from modifications

Both my Equinox have been used HARD. They have been used for hours at a time totally submerged, the have been used in 100 degree to 20 degree wheather . They have been drag through the mud, snow, ice, rocks. Never did I have any leaking issues in either my 600 or 800. I have taught at least...
