The ground is finally diggable here in New England after a long winter. Just back from "Diggin in Virgina XVII" for Civil War relics, & I'll have to post those finds as soon as I clean 'em up & get unpacked. Used 1270, F75, & had a blast & saw lots of old friends........ Before I left I wanted...

I have a few copies of my "Saving History New England-Season 1" DVD's left. There were only 200 made & sold with little or no advertising (there are only 3 left). Originally $18.95+ shipping, I'll sell off the last couple for $15 shipped 1st class in the USA if you use Pay PAL. It's over 135...

"Trifecta"- had a good day of treasure hunting:detecting::O

I met up with my buddy Ted who I hadn't hunted with in a while. The plan was to hit some bottle dumps I had located recently while detecting. The dump I choose first only because it was closest to his house paid off.....though all the rains we had made the dump a muddy mess when you dug down...

    New Video featuring my daughter........

The "bottle baby" :) I know this is an F-series forum, but after seeing all the folks running up to me at the DIV saying how much they loved all my video's, I uploaded this old "Backyard Bottle Baby" one....(no detecting, just digging up old bottles this time). Emma's now 2 & about ready to...

Off to "Diggin in Virginia" tommorrow....:twodetecting:

It's always a fun detecting road trip. Wish us luck in that nasty, mineralized red clay soil. I'll be bringing many shovels, coils, & 3 different detectors with me. I'd love to share everything, but since some are of the belief that posting pictures of finds constitutes "showboating", perhaps...

After loads of antibiotics.....the Lyme disease is about gone, & I'm finally getting to pretty much 100% & ready to get back into some serious detecting with the F75 LTD  I'm willing to brave the woods again & deer ticks & deer hunters to hopefully give you some strait shooter feedback...

Colonial Finds from a village "meeting rock" :detecting:

On private property with landowners permission for the interested archies :) My buddy & I found a strange area hiking in the woods that was above a stream & surrounded by stone walls. We found it in the winter so it had never seen a detector. There were no foundations that we saw, just weird...

Here's a 10 min. video I threw together quick as a preview of what my "season 2" DVD will be like.......... Alot of early coins & buttons showed up on this memorable day of detecting. Classic Coinstrike found this one:detecting:

I posted this picture on the other Fisher forum, but really it was a Coinstrike find. Here are a couple finds from the last week at 2 different sites. The first is a Civil War veteran's piece (medal?) from the Grand Army of The Republic, or GAR I detected in an old yard. There are no ribbon or a...

    A couple cool new finds:detecting:

Here are a couple finds from the last week at 2 different sites. The first is a Civil War veteran's piece (medal?) from the Grand Army of The Republic, or GAR I detected in an old yard. There are no ribbon or a pin attachment I can see, & the back has a bunch of weird good luck-type symbols. I'm...

I have been doing mostly bottle digging lately, and so far it's been all rain here in New England for weeks and they are saying rain for this weekend too.... But, in between raindrops I was able to revisit a Colonial cellar hole site that was great to us in the past, but we kinda figured...

I have been really focusing on returning to all of the old Colonial cellar holes up here in New England I have on my GPS, & looking just for the trash pits rather than just surface hunting which we have already done hard at these places. Your really detecting for iron which is something most...
