    Jerry I work in a park that was flooded in 1972 plus it was beer tabs central since before that, its the coil I wasn't use to I usually use a 6 x 10 ( from my DFX ) and have found everything from tack heads at fourteen inches to fuse boxes at 2' , I'll play around with the D2 more, its all...

    its a " SKB" made in orange California I'll see if I can find it in the catalog, its a hard casse with TSA locks so if you go thru an airport they can open it and then relock it

    I bought a bow (archery) case at cabela's for mine and can get my detector ,shovel and everything I need in there and it keeps the heat away also, plus I can carry it on my motorcycle also

    I seem to be having a problem finding where the pinpoint is on the coil that came with the V3, I assume its in the center but one time it appears to be on the front of the coil and then the next time not, but when I switch coils I have know problem, has anyone had this problem with there coil

    What would you do?

    Keep the coin metal detecting is what we do just like deer hunting -you keep what you find (or kill) permission was given enough said, a gift certificate to a local restaurant would be a nice gesture , great find be proud of it

    DX-1 probe

    I'm having a problem with my DX-1 probe out being accurate all the time is there any suggestions on improving the accuracy, I've missed a few targets lately because the probe won't pick them up and then they disappear when I check the hole with the v3?
