    If the coin is on edge you will pinpoint one place and find nothing ,then it will pinpoint in another place, When this happens ,I dig between the two holes and usually find the coin there on edge.when a coin is on edge it don't give a proper depth reading. Ed

    Howard I tried the air test just now and it reads the quarter correctly at the 2.5 freq being the strongest. Tonight at the beach all targets are strongest at 22.5. I even tried Hi-Pro with salt compensate turned on and the quarters were the strongest at 22.5 as were the rest of the targets...

    Nice finds Yazoo !!! That 1892 o half is a key date coin and is in great condition. I found one in a gravel path that was really beat up and still got 50 bucks for it. Ed
