    I think as long as you use Whites OEM parts you shouldn't have any problems with that rod. I change my coils at the upper rod so all my coils have the upper and lower rod both which makes for easy changing cause you never have to worry about re-wrapping the cord every time.

    August 12th finds in a large lot

    The lot is where there about 16 apartment houses torn down in an older area of the town, my brother and I nicknamed it the trashpit a long time ago cause of the amount that's there.     First silver ring with the v3

    Small silver coins like the half dime will hit hard on the 7.5kHz as will Indian heads and also the old silver Canadian 5 cent pieces. If I'm in an area where there's some history I'll go for them deeper zinc type signals.

    Are DFX and V3 coils interchangable?

    I use all the coils that I used on my MXT I just can't run the TX boost (deep silver program ). I really can't see any sense in buying a new arsenal of coils it's just tooooo expensiver.

    M6 better than V3i?

    There are Canadian coins that are the same way, they VDI in the negative range because they are partially ferrous metal. The coins sure are getting cheap around the world these days.

    O.K. Here's a question for the V3i people who also use the MXT...

    The MXT program in the library on the V3i will never replace the genuine MXT in my opinion. It's a horse of a different color. I've tried it and didn't care for it at all.
