    OK so it is a problem with the coil. I just tested it and it starts overloading when I hit sens. 15. If I put it in single frequency it will overload then 2.5 kHz at sens. 14. So it has to be bad correct? Suggestions? Call whites and ask them if they can repair it?

    Well I love the 10x6 but in the V3i I get overloading with the coil at sensitivity 9. Now I know it is V rated since the serial starts with a V, might be the ground.

    I personally never had a 6000 but I know they were and still are good detectors. The V3i is just a compleately different machine. It is like taking a ride in a 1970 cadilac and than hopping in a brand new 2011 model. Will they take you to the same place yes, will you get there feeling the same...

    Yeah indeed today I just used the C&J and I did activate the VCO. Hi Pro still have to test that one. Tomorrow I plan to go out and MD all morning in a prooven park, there are a lot of coins there so I will see hot it behaves.
