    NOKTA SIMPLEX Vs MINELAB VANQUISH

Vanquish for sure. Simply because it sounds nicer on the ears.

Looks like White’s Vx3 model discontinued

You don't see hardly anyone using the V3i here IN THE Uk at all. I have a feeling not that many have been sold. There are way too many adjustments! in fact, it's borderline insane the amount of tweaking that that can be done..

    Simplex 2020 Updates coming soon.

I seriously doubt the more depth bit. This is claimed with every detector or coil ever made for the last 40 + years. We have been getting "more depth" for 40 years!

Do you prefer the WM 08 module over the standard ML 80 phones?

I agree the sound seems to have a bit too much bass on the ML 80. The koss ur 30 had the same problem which was too much bass. Too much treble can be a problem though as you can get a very annoying hiss coming through in the background. No win!

    Pinpointer Low Batteries?

A Duracell PP3 should easily give 30 hours + hours of use which is a hell of a long time before a battery swap is needed. My own pro pointer AT gives a few months use before a new Duracell is fitted. I know someone who uses a rechargeable battery in his pro pointer and he says the pro pointer...

I have had to quit a site because of dogs ripping my holes out.

I have video recorded the dog that is ripping the holes out. The video shows a crazy white dog scratching out the holes. Time to heal now for the site. I have abandoned it.

    Florida Beaches.

I am finding nothing much at all here actually. The main problem is that many farmers now won't give permission. They usually say they have someone else doing their land or they have clubs detecting the land. The farmland I have managed to get permission to detect on has given up nothing at...

How many still using a 1266?

I had to sell mine as I was digging too much iron mostly with higher sensitivity (with boost on), it sounded so good the deep iron. Personally I would not go back to the 12 66 x.

I have had to quit a site because of dogs ripping my holes out.

Thanks for the tips... I will now be planting a mothball in the hole. o_O I might just take a watering can too and water the holes. :lmfao:

    New C-Scope model coming soon

Shame C-Scope had to put that horrible coil from the 6 mxi back on the new Evo. I never liked that coil, it looks ugly and spoils the look of the Evo. Just my opinion. Looks a good detector from what I see though.

I have had to quit a site because of dogs ripping my holes out.

I have been detecting a good field for the last few months, recovering about 500 coins. I have noticed recently holes filled with water are appearing all over the place. The field is now pockmarked with ripped out holes thanks to the dogs. The field gets more dogs on it than I have ever seen:(...

    Garrett repair

Any fault other than a simple fault on the old Garretts and you are screwed, I heard they don't want to or can't fix them!..

    Simplex On-Off switch.

The equinox buttons are not hard to press though. How deep would you have to go underwater for water pressure to actually compress the buttons?. Deeper than 10 foot I would guess.

    Coins Sinking

My own opinion is that coins can sink under certain conditions that I don't understand. I think 1 reason they "sink" is they can actually be pushed down by cattle on the wet sloppy ground. Like many have said old coins can be found close to the surface so it's safe to say coins don't always...
