Manticore Depth Test Result - Not too impressed

I can say with confidence that i do dig less rubbish with manticore , There are improvements to be seen. The speed of response between targets is extremely good IMHO. I fitted a folding mechanism on mine and it is super slim when folded, slides into XP 280 Backpack like a snake, easily fits in...

Manticore Depth Test Result - Not too impressed

It gets worse , i just did some calculations and it seems us manticore users are paying £ 350 per centimetre for each extra cm of depth or $439 for USA users per centimetre extra or £35 per MM of depth! or 43 dollars per MM extra depth  for the USA users!

Manticore Depth Test Result - Not too impressed

The manticore is no deeper than a nox or legend ,so i think to my self what is this 50% more power actually doing. Any suggestions ?

700 Year old coin found with The Manticore

Well done "thumper" on your hammered silver . You earn my respect for your hard work grafting the frozen moors with your electro wand. .

700 Year old coin found with The Manticore

I would guess that coin will fetch £60 to £80 . I would prefer to sit supping my cappuccino lightly milked with a rolled up players JPS easy rolling cancer stick watching Agnetha Faltskog on my giant tv wiggling her buttocks with her tight shorts than travel150 miles to a frozen field at Minus...

Manticore Depth Test Result - Not too impressed

I agree totally. I get sucked in to all the hype too , buying top of the range minelab for that "50% extra" which from what i see is maybe 5% at best extra. Maybe not even that. Splitting hairs for sure.

Manticore Depth Test Result - Not too impressed

Planted a UK one pound coin to 7 inches depth, average dirt not contaminated , got the same sort of responses as i did from similar tests on Nox and Legend. That 50% claimed extra power does virtually nothing from what i have seen on my test.

Has anyone ever used a Minelab GPX 5000 on a park searching for coins

Has anyone ever used a Minelab GPX 5000 on a park searching for coins

There is a dealer advertising a GPX 5000 for sale , he says he can identify 95% of iron with his GPX 5000. Just wondering how true that could be.

Has anyone ever used a Minelab GPX 5000 on a park searching for coins

I am considering getting a Minelab GPX 5000 to coin shoot on parks and football fields , any comments are welcome on the idea.. I have heard a dealer describe the feeling of using a GPX 5000 on sites as "Feeling Invincible" One guy got a small gold coin at 18 inches deep i heard..

    Deus 2 or manticore?

I think that having to keep charging everything up every day especially the coil was main reason i got rid of D2. Had coil fail twice because of low battery when on site. Could do with more battery capacity in the coil IMHO. I needed a six inch coil too which is not available for D2. Remote...

    Deus 2 or manticore?

Manticore all the way. I owned a D2 for about 6 months and at first thought it was pretty good. Things got worse when i updated it , it started to be a lover of iron bits , deep iron, loss of depth as i proved on some depth tests. The factory set programs are not good. I got sick and tired of...

    Ctx is a water monster

I have one too , only problem is i find it a heavy swinger. Found a mans gold ring last year amongst high levels of slaw. Bought Manticore Now , much more trash is left in the ground with manticore. A more enjoyable detecting experience by far. Manticore In my opinion probably will be a...
