    Here in Maine it was gusting 50 mph......not a good time to detect. Also I use only the 950 coil for the Beach.

    I guess Whites has another secret arsenal coming out soon.....I remember when the DFX came out. it took many years for a new top of the line came out...And in the past few years V3,TDI,V3i......Maybe this one you'll see whats in the ground before you dig....:surprised:

    Calibil, What was your turn around time? I'll be sending mine after X-mas.....i waited awhile just to see what other people have been experiencing with the upgrade....Ive had my V3 now for over a year never had a problem other than the coils.....but I still can't ground balance in wet...

    It costs me $50 to ship my machine to Oregon.....now plus $100.00 upgrade and $25 to ship it back....Ouch!!! I like the new upgrade features.....But I think $100 is a little steep.....I just had mine there 4 weeks ago...I know the upgrade wasn't available then....This can get expensive..

    So the more problematic grounds the higher you should have your autotrac speed......and stable grounds have it at lock and ground balance once in awhile....or leave it in autotrac and have it set real low....

    Mike C , I called Whites and they were overwhelmed with the kits they had to send out.....It took a week before they could send them out again.....I called yesterday and they just sent mine.....And I asked for the kit 3 weeks ago...
