Garrett AT max VS Nokta Legend

I started with an At Pro. Great machine. From what I read the Max was sorta of a step down from the AtPro, kinda like IMO the 900 was from the 800 which I have a combined usage of over 6 years on both. I had read the Max was quite unstable in many environments. as is the 900. Which brings us to...

using bone conduction headphones with legend

Those are the ones OLDKOOT uses. I think for me in hot weather them sticking to my neck would be irritating. Same goes for the connecting cord between my earbuds. When sweating they have a tendency to stick and when I turn my head they get dislodged or come all the way out. Hence the bone...

    real or giftshop

The cool factor comes into play here. If its real thats just icing on the cake. Great save and congrats. I once found a Continental Currency dollar dated 1776. It was designed by Ben Franklin. I knew it was a knock off but still tickled by the find. Good luck. Mark

Sorry, whenever I try to post a link it doesn't seem to work for me. If you go on Amazon and type in Ziocom LK02 I'm sure they'll come up 69.99 with a $20ndollar off coupon. Not sure

    Slightly unusual find

Very cool find, congrats. I like it ! Always a treat to see someone with a little ingenuity make another use of a coin. ie washers, whizzzers, buttons or love tokens. I once found a wheat penny that had been made into a weight of some sort. Again, well done and congrats. Mark

    Manticore

So back in Feb. of 2018 I got and Equinox 800 and that was the first gripe I had. A penny and a dime ID'd to close together, same or over lapped. The Etrac or AtPro I had used never had a problem distinguishing the difference. Fast forward to the Dll, 900 Legend and so on. It seems that its a...

Congrats on the wheaties and dime trifecta Jimmy That combo seems to work quite well for you. Been a while since I had a trifecta, of any sort. Good luck. Mark

Ziocom model LK02 from Amazon. I did some air tests with them and they worked fine. No lag. I went over to a neighbors yard which he has dug up. Found a few pennies. They are not real loud but loud enough for me. And I have Hi-freq hearing loss above 3k. As I posted earlier hunting close to...

Received the Ziocom open ear headphones the other day. Charged them up. They paired up to the Legend within a few seconds. The LL icon was displayed on the screen. Air tests showed no delay. IMO they could be louder but for me they will be fine. The only issue I see if there excessive wind/wave...

    Big Shiny Bucketlister.

Thank you gentlemen. This past week I returned for the third time. Managed a 64 Rosie, it was shallow in a pile of woodchips. I'm thinking it went through the chipper. It was the first coin on the day. Another 183 in clad, 3 more wheats and some other cool stuff. Clad total now is over 5 bucks...

I think the ones he uses are called Avantree torous. I saw them on Amazon but they are slightly more than 50 bucks. I did see a post on Detector Prospector about APX ll bone conductors. They list for 69 but have a 20 dollar off coupon. They are called Ziocom open ear Bone conductor headphones...

I'm with you Picketwire, I use the vibration only feature. It doesn't attract attention and prolongs the battery life. All that extra connection stuff is just more to fiddle with and another thing that can break. Keeping it simple is the way to IMO.
