    New to the EQ

Do you carry a cell phone? If so put it in airplane mode or turn it off. Try it and see if it helps. Alot have said a cell phone interferes with the Equinox. My phone doesn't but many do.

    Top pocket find!!

I don't even remember what the buckle gave, it was high and deep so I dug it. Roses hit mid 20's. I also had a button that locked on 11.

    Top pocket find!!

My first day with the Equinox and I get a first. A complete buckle every bit of 12" deep! I almost gave up! Also got an 1800's button, a rosie, a few Wheats and a bunch of modern coins. I gotta say the most impressive thing about this hunt is I have pounded this area with so many top end...

Anfibio stock coil size comparison to the 13" coil

I received 2 new additions for my Anfibio Multi today. Here is the 13" coil lined up on top of the stock coil. Big Big difference in size. Fortunately for me it doesn't feel nose heavy. It's heavier to swing but not nose heavy but I do tend to keep a coil close to my feet so that does help. I...

FS: Sunray X-1 Probe (Short black model)

I had someone ask me if the cam lock holds tight. I just checked it and yes it holds very tight. As long as you keep any oils off of the lower shafts these cam locks hold tight.

    Anfibio coil question

I have the Multi with the stock 11" coil but I am considering getting the 13" coil. Those who have the stock cool know how well balanced the machine is. That 11" coil is perfect for weight, it's not nose heavy at all. Do any of you have the 13" coil and does it feel nose heavy? It looks like...

Torn on my next machine...Anfibio? ORX?

Another bonus to the Anfibio is how well its balanced with stock coil and it's built very solid. My Etrac with the stock coil can give my shoulder problems if I hunt to much. I don't have that issue with the Anfibio.

Torn on my next machine...Anfibio? ORX?

Well I have a very large area of mowed grass that has a lot of coins from the 30's to the 50's and that means many Mercs. I hunted this very hard with the Etrac but the finds are drying up. The depth limit for my Etrac there is right around 10" with the stock 11" coil. Typically the older coins...

    bent iron nails

I probably have a thousand hours on the Etrac since they first came on the market. I can say out of all the coins I have dug I probably only found 3 or 4 that hit a 28 or 29 ferrous number and they were Wheats. The Andy S. Pattern is my most used pattern. It's a great pattern to use as your...

    Detector Pro Pistol Probe.

I had 3 of those thru the years, they are great when they work. A little odd to use and carry but the depth is amazing. I doubt you will figure that out. Maybe give them a call? https://detectorpro.com/ Call (90:geek: 333-2942

Torn on my next machine...Anfibio? ORX?

I have the Anfibio multi. Right now I also have 2 FBS machines. I have owned many Deus, love that machine. I have compared the Deus that I am very familiar with and compared it to the Etrac. Target for target. Hands down the Anfibio is considerably deeper. It's a great machine but no machine is...

    Replacing Anfibio Upper Shaft

It takes a little bit to get it to let loose. It slides with just that one screw holding it in place.

    Replacing Anfibio Upper Shaft

I have done this, I had to replace the upper handle section. I had a slight wobble, the cam lock wasn't getting tight enough. It's just that one screw and it slides up if my memory is right. It was very easy to replace that upper section. Took maybe 5 minutes.
