    The D2 is continuing to amaze, today I found what I think might be a Reale or a six pence, I can only see an 18 on the reverse. It was in amongst a ton of nails where an old old building once stood in my old park. I assume it must be from the early 1800's

    I don't think anywhere you have found coins previously is ever really hunted out. I hunt in an older park most of the time and in this park a couple years ago they setup a version of the Vietnam war memorial, to do this they had to get a bull dozer in there to create a little hill for the war...

    I contacted him, he is still repairing the headphones, I just emailed him not long ago. I just decided to fix them myself since it was just a cord problem.

    I figured out what the problem was, the wire under the strain relief next to the plug was broken so I cut that end off and grafted another plug onto the headphones, they work good now. Problem solved : )

    I will give smooth a go too, I like trying different methods to get those hard to see masked targets.

    I started using the long tones option on my Etrac and I really like the way it makes the targets sound off, to me it makes them sing out better and the targets seem to stand out better in the trashy spots.
