    Simplex finds me some silver!

Found my first barber quarter with the simplex along with 7 wheat pennies, really loving this detector more and more every day.

    The waiting finally payed off

A day of detected I won’t forget. I dug my first ever barber quarter along with 7 wheaties, a “good for one fare” token, my first dog tax, and a “27th president Willian H Taft Big Bull Great Jurist token” (bottom left token) I also would like to know if the last picture is part of a revolver...

    Finds from past two days

Thanks I’ll definitely give that a try and dig the iffy signals, I was lucky enough to have a Mercury dime that I used to help learn some silver vdi numbers. It’s just a matter of time to wander across one! Definitely looking forward to go back with you I always have a blast and love having...

    Finds from past two days

My best finds from my last couple hunts with the simplex consisted of 5 wheat pennies(1920 was the oldest one), $3.19 in clad, and the last picture was a neat looking button that I believe is a 2 piece. I was really hoping for silver but the place I was hunting was said to be detected quite a...

I had my best hunt ever today!

Thank you I’ll have to try it out. I run 2.77 because that’s how mine came from the factory but I’ve been thinking about updating for the stable vdi numbers. Would you recommend doing so?

Congratulations! What settings do you use on your simplex for coin shooting, and what update is your simplex set on?

    Simplex coils

Thank you, I’ll definitely take a look at it!

    Simplex coils

Thank you for the recommendations. I’ll definitely look into the 5x9.5 coils. My main use for it will probably be detecting areas where homesites used to be, so I assume it will help find the goodies amongst the iron nails.

    Simplex coils

I’m thinking about possibly getting a smaller coil for detecting trashy areas. Any recommendations?

I’m not sure why that happens. I have a simplex with wireless headphones and haven’t had any problems from them. Wish I could help you out but I got nothing😕

    A decent hunt today

Yes they're wind-up clocks they always call them travel clocks. They must of made millions of them because I've found my fair share! Wow thank you for the information. That’s pretty cool.

    A decent hunt today

Thank you Is that what the large object in the middle of the first picture is? I honestly didn’t know what it was, I’ve never found one before.

    A decent hunt today

Some of the best finds were a Linel watch, a pretty toasted 1950 wheat penny, and a ring that had “NF925” inside it which I believe stands for “nickel free and 92.5% sterling silver”
